This digital illustration is a celebration of Karnataka’s cultural soul, captured through two of its most iconic dance traditions—Bhoothakola and Yakshagana. By placing these forms side by side, I wanted to create an artwork that pays homage to the depth, diversity, and enduring power of the region’s performing arts. The composition brings together the ritual intensity of Bhoothakola and the theatrical vibrancy of Yakshagana, uniting them with a visual glow that symbolizes their shared roots in the cultural landscape of coastal Karnataka, India.
